Hot air balloon ride, a good experience to do after the COVID-19.

After 3 months without being able to fly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will take flight again. However, we have to change some things during the flight, to give more security to customers, but maintaining the quality we gave before.

These new measures are applied to prevent contact between different groups reducing the possible spread of the virus between them.

Capacity of the baskets

The first measure we apply in balloon flight is to reduce the number of passengers, in order to avoid contact between different groups.

As you can see in the picture, we have this basket which is usually for 16 passengers plus the pilot, in this case we reduce the total number of people, as we do not join two groups in the same compartment. Having a separation for each group.

Compartment 1: Family group of 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children.

Compartment 2: Group of friends of 3 adults.

Compartment 3: Couple, 2 adults.

Compartment 4: Family group of 3 people, 2 adults and 1 child.

Compartment 5: Pilot.

In this other image we can see a basket of 12 people, with the new normal we have 3 different groups that means we reduce 3 passengers.

Compartment 1: Two pairs of 2 adults, with a safety separation between them.

Separation between compartments:

As we have said our goal is to give a 100% safe experience. In this way, in order to avoid this contact between groups, we have introduced a new element in the balloon, a partition to separate the different compartments.

Mask during balloon flight

Another measure is the compulsory use of a mask. Despite having control of the passengers who come, as the current law tells us, it is mandatory use this object when you are in contact with other people.

Hydroalcoholic gel

One way to prevent infection, as health authorities say, is to constantly wash your hands with hydroalcoholic gel, a measure to eliminate the virus. That is why there will be ice both in our facilities and in the balloon flight.
