CAN MENCIÓ PENSION

The first night you will stay in the medieval village of Santa Pau. Can Menció is located in the porticoed square of the village.

It has 12 double rooms and 1 family room, in addition to the living room with fireplace. This guest house does not serve dinner, but if you wish, you can go to one of the village restaurants, where you can taste typical dishes of volcanic cuisine.

This accommodation is located 10 minutes far from our facilities.

BALLOON FLIGHT

The next day, early in the morning (between 6:30 and 8:00, according to the season) you will live the experience of ballooning over volcanoes.

As you got up very early, once at our Vol de Coloms facilities, we invite you to have a coffee for adults, a juice for children and to eat some pastries, while you watch the preparation of the balloon.

All our baskets have a door and so, they are accessible to all types of public.

The balloon flight lasts 1h 30 m. We are passengers of the wind and fly over the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa with its dormant volcanoes. We toasted with cava, juice and tasted the chicharrones cake. We contemplate the landscape from a bird's eye view, floating in the air in calm and silence. A unique adventure!

Once the flight is over, the ground team that has been following us all the way, will pick us up in a 4x4 and we will enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast of bread with tomato and sausage and Santa Pau beans with sausage, water, wine, desserts from the Cooperativa la Fageda, coffees and ratafía tasting.

Finally, we deliver the flight diploma, signed by the pilot.

TREE HOUSE

And then you can go to the Cabanes als arbres, an hour away, in the Massís de Les Guilleries, where you will enjoy a stay in direct contact with the tree. The experience of a night sleeping in a nest located in the framework of branches of a beautiful tree.

You can access the cabin in a fun way, using a suspension bridge and / or a vertical staircase. The cabins are rounded and have 30 m2 of surface.

To preserve the environment as much as possible, the cabins do not provide electricity or running water. Each cabin has flashlights, portable lamps, water, and a sink.

The WC is biodegradable and is recycled in composting form.

In the evening, they will bring you a dinner and, the next morning, they will bring you breakfast with a basket in the same cabin.
