The night before the flight you will stay at the Vall de Bas Hotel, located in Joanetes. Surrounded by nature, at the foot of the majestic Puigsacalm it is a place that invites rest and tranquility.

It has rooms fully adapted for people with wheelchairs. They are equipped with flat screen TV, air conditioning, private bathroom, desk and free wiffi service. Also, they offer free tea and water in the same room.

This disabled accommodation in La Garrotxa, with an unbeatable setting, has an outdoor pool, gardens and terrace.

The Vall de Bas Hotel offers a restaurant service, where if you want you can enjoy a gastronomic selection with local products.

It is located about 15-20 meters from the facilities of the Vol de Coloms.

Hot air ballon ride

Living the experience of flying in a balloon over the Natural Park of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone is possible thanks to the adapted baskets, with a door and two adjustable hydraulic seats that can be raised to enough height to perfectly see the landscape from La Garrotxa.

The balloon flight begins early in the morning (between 6:30 and 8:00, according to the season). It's when the atmosphere is colder and more stable and the wind calmer. In our facilities in Vol de Coloms you can have a coffee and eat some pastries while you watch, take pictures of the balloon and the inflation.

We offer to enjoy a unique perspective of the volcanoes in our region, unique in Catalonia. While you enjoy a privileged view we will make a toast with pink cava and we try a slice of coca de llardons, a delicious local cake.

Once the flight is over, the ground team pick us up in an adapted vehicle and we will go together to make a good country breakfast with bread with tomato and sausage and beans from Santa Pau with butifarra, desserts from Cooperativa la Fageda, coffees and ratafía tasting.

To finish the adventure we will give you a flight diploma signed by the pilot.
