We are very privileged to be able to offer the hot air balloon ride in La Garrotxa.
We have a country with very beautiful reliefs and landscapes, for this reason there are many places where they offer the experience of hot air balloon flight.
Why do we believe that we are privileged to be able to fly in our region?
- We have a unique and very different landscape every season of the year. It is very difficult to choose when to come to do the hot air balloon flight because each season has a different look depending on nature.
- We fly over one of the most important volcanic areas in Europe with 10 craters, 23 well-preserved cones, and over 20 basaltic lava flows.
- We fly over a beech forest unique in Europe located at a height lower than normal thanks to the micro-climate of the region.
- We are surrounded by villages, each with its own particular charm. The wind is what decides which of them to see. If we have the chance to fly over one of them, we will be able to see how man has left his mark with historic buildings.
- It is an agricultural region, with which during the year we can see how the fields change with the different agricultural crops.
- We are next to beautiful regions which, when the wind is strong, pushes us to know all their charms. Pla de l’Estany, Alt Empordà, Osona and Le Gironés welcome us kindly to be able to fly over their lands.
- From the heights, on days with good visibility, we can see emblematic places of Catalonia such as Montserrat, the Costa Brava, the Canigó or the Pedraforca.
As you can see there are many factors to have this experience with us. The more than 29 years that we make balloon fights in the Garrotxa, have made us know the territory with great precision. Our intention is that all who come can feel the love we have for our region.
